NASCAR News: The 2018 Camaro Racecar

Chevrolet has been part of the NASCAR scene for decads. The brand has tackled the race track at the NASCAR Cup Series. One of Chevrolet’s latest creations, the Camaro ZL1, is now the new racecar for Monster Energy.

“Chevrolet, Camaro and ZL1 are all synonymous with winning, both on and off the track. We are thrilled to run Camaro in NASCAR next year, with the time-honored and track-tested ZL1 badge, and we’re just as excited for our drivers, teams, fans and customers,” said Mark Reuss, Executive Vice President of GM Global Product Development.

The Camaro ZL1 brings a new, track-focused legacy to NASCAR. The ZL1 name was originally presented to the public in the 1960s on a Chevrolet-developed all-aluminum racing engine that became a dominating force in road racing. In 1969, a few enterprising dealers used Chevrolet’s special-order system to get the ZL1 engine installed in 69 regular-production Camaros. The cars became instant legends on the street and dragstrip. There’s no feeling like the thrill of getting into the cockpit of the Camaro ZL1.

Chevrolet Introduces The Tahoe Custom

Chevrolet is constantly evolving in the world of luxury and customization. The new 2018 Tahoe Custom special edition for the 2018 model year is now available. The Tahoe Custom is based on the LS trim and adds 18-inch painted aluminum wheels, all-season tires and a chrome-accented grille. Plus, Tahoe Custom features a third-row seat that has been removed, increasing cargo space behind the second row to a substantial 54 cubic feet for added utility.

“The Tahoe Custom is a response to strong customer demand for Tahoe, as well as the full-size SUV segment moving upmarket. In the past five years, the average transaction price for the segment has climbed fueled by customer appetite for features like heated and cooled seats, adaptive cruise control and a head-up display. This created an unmet need in the marketplace for customers who want the cargo and towing capability of a full-size SUV to go camping, boating or off-roading but don’t necessarily want all of the option content offered on a Tahoe Premier,” said Sandor Piszar, Chevrolet Trucks Marketing Director.

Starting at $44,995, the Tahoe is an unbeatable SUV and is sure to change the way you travel the roads! Its technology is top of the market. The model features entertainment technologies such as Apple CarPlay & Android Auto Compatibility, Standard Teen Driver Mode, 8-inch Color Touchscreen Radio and so much more!
