It’s no secret that Chevrolet makes amazing vehicles for our police force. Recently, Chevrolet introduced new safety features that have been incorporated into the 2018 Tahoe Police Pursuit Vehicle.
The highlight of this vehicle is the new Enhanced Driver Assist Package that is the first of its kind to be utilized in a pursuit-rated vehicle. The new set of features consists of Low-Speed Forward Automatic Braking, Forward Collision Alert, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Safety Alert Driver Seat and Power Adjustable Pedals.
“When they’re on road patrol, police officers are constantly multitasking. Now when officers are scanning their surroundings, so is their vehicle. That will help them stay safe,” said Theodore Quisenberry, a 43-year law enforcement veteran and the retired chief of the Royal Oak (Michigan) Police Department and the Oakland County Homeland Security Division.
We are proud to represent a brand that takes care of our officers!

Chevrolet is a brand that tirelessly strives to make a difference and lend a helping hand to those in need. For the past eight years, Chevrolet has served as the official vehicle of the Army-Navy Game. This year, while the Army-Navy game was taking place, Former General Motors Chairman and CEO, Dan Akerson, presented a Chevrolet Traverse to Shawn Moore and her family.
At the game, Mrs. Moore was recognized for her work as an Operation Homefront Hearts of Valor group facilitator and her dedication as a caregiver to her husband Bryan, a United States Army veteran who was medically retired after 7 tours and 23 years of service. The Operation Homefront’s Hearts of Valor program honors the service and sacrifice of the people who care for our nation’s wounded, ill or injured warriors and provides a supportive community for them. With more than 6,000 veterans employed at General Motors and more than 50,000 General Motors retirees who are veterans, General Motors and Chevrolet are proud to help those who have given so much to their country.
“It is so important for us to honor the families of our military service members who are so often confronted with the lifelong care of our wounded veterans. Recognizing Shawn Moore and the exceptional care that she is providing for her husband, Bryan, is a small way for GM and Chevrolet to bring attention to the vital role organizations like Operation Homefront play in the daily support of our military families,” said Dan Akerson, former chairman and CEO of General Motors.
We are honored to represent a brand such as Chevrolet that is constantly giving back to the community.

The holidays are here, which means it’s the height of road-trip season! Family road trips can be a stressful time, especially for parents. Recently, a new survey was conducted by Harris Poll on behalf of Chevrolet that reveals the major stressors of road trips.
Perhaps surprisingly, keeping kids entertained and hearing the constant nagging question of “Are we there yet?” were ranked lower on the list than the frustration of traffic. As traffic levels are projected to increase during the upcoming travel season, parents indicated that in-vehicle technologies can improve the family road trip experience by making gridlock more bearable.
“The vehicle is the new family dinner table, where memories are created and bonds grow strong. As families prepare to hit the road this holiday to spend time with friends and family, they can depend on crossovers like the 2018 Chevrolet Traverse and Equinox to meet their needs, from storage space to USB outlets, available 4G LTE Wi-Fi and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility,” said Steve Majoros, Director of Marketing for Chevrolet Cars and Crossovers.

Chevrolet partnered with country-music star Luke Bryan to design a Suburban SUV appropriate for “huntin’, fishin’ and lovin’ every day.” He said, “Chevy has been part of our family and a part of our work life on the farm for as long as I can remember. If you were a Bryan, you drove a Chevy — and I’m a longtime Suburban owner. This partnership is a natural fit for me and this unique Suburban represents everything I and my family want for our outdoor adventures.” Chevrolet explains, “Like other regular-production 2018 Suburban models, Bryan’s concept is powered by a direct-injected 5.3L V-8, rated at 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque, that’s backed by a six-speed automatic transmission. The 5.3L engine is part of the classic Chevrolet Small Block family that’s delivered proven power and dependability for more than 60 years. The Suburban also features a locking rear differential for sure-footed traction in the outdoors and an 8,000-pound trailering rating (4WD with NHT Max Trailering Package).”

Chevrolet has joined the fight against breast cancer by proudly supporting the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks for several years. The brand contributes by raising money, walking for a cure, and promoting the movement. Since 2011, Chevrolet has helped the American Cancer Society raise more than $7.7 million. Amazing? We think so!
This year, when customers use the hashtag #IDriveFor, Chevrolet will contribute $5 for every post that includes the hashtag.
“The Chevrolet team knows how important it is to be part of the fight against breast cancer, as many of our own family and friends have been affected by the disease. We are proud to partner with the American Cancer Society and our dealers once again to raise awareness and funds for research toward a cure,” said Paul Edwards, U.S. Vice President of Chevrolet Marketing.

The Chevrolet Equinox is the perfect vehicle for those who are on-the-go or who juggle a busy lifestyle. Let’s face it, accidents happen. Coffee spill during the morning rush to the office, mud gets tracked in, or the family dog slobbers on the seat. The 2018 Equinox interior offers a durable denim-like seat fabric that is easy to clean or available leather seating surfaces with a new treatment that resists staining and scuffing.
“Many fashion trends disappear after a year or two, while the Equinox is designed for the long haul, making the durability of its materials very important. By following real people and absorbing the little things in life that help or hinder them — such as photos posted of muddy paws, spilled drinks or stains on the seats — we learned more about how we could make the new Equinox easier to live with and enjoy every day,” said Mara Kapsis, Color and Trim Designer for the 2018 Equinox.
Never worry about the hassle of clean up again with the new interior of the 2018 Chevrolet Equinox!
